Pro Evolution Soccer (PES), eFootball™ 2022 Update
Update for “eFootball™ 2022 (iOS/Android)”
Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) mobile gamers will have to wait until 2022 to enjoy the newly awaited version of eFootball™ 2021. There were many concerns and suspicions circulating around among fans before PES issued a statement announcing the release date for eFootball 2022.
Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) announced the postponement of the update to “eFootball™ 2022” for mobile devices from Autumn 2021 to Spring 2022,that is between 20th March and 21st June 2022.
eFootball™ PES Mobile 2022 Update Overview
eFootball PES confirmed that they want to make sure their fans who have enjoyed eFootball PES 2021 for mobile over the last years will continue enjoying the perfect football experience with eFootball™ 2022. With that in mind, they will be releasing it as an app update rather than a new installation, as with previous years.
eFootball™ 2022 System Requirements
After the update of eFootball PES 2021, you will be able to begin your eFootball™ 2022 experience by carrying over a portion of your in-game assets from eFootball PES 2021. However, there are some assets that cannot be carried over, since the game will undergo significant changes.
With this update to the game, the minimum system requirements have changed, and as a result some devices will no longer be supported. For devices which are no longer supported, playing will not be possible after updating to eFootball™ 2022.
Additionally, performance will vary among supported devices. Some users may need to upgrade their devices in order to continue playing. Account carryover will be limited to iOS and Android device users only. Transfer from mobile to console and vice versa are not possible.
Note: If you decide to upgrade your device, please make sure to link your data in eFootball PES 2021. This ensures that you will be able to transfer your assets to eFootballTM 2022. The system requirements for eFootballTM 2022 will be released later on this website.
eFootball™ 2022 Main Changes
These changes reflect our pursuit of improved competitiveness as we aim to become one of the world’s greatest eSports platforms. eFootball™ 2022 will launch with a new football engine designed to focus on one-on-one battles for control of the ball.
Since they are using the same engine for both console and mobile, you can take to the pitch using your favourite device. What’s more, future updates will add controller support for mobile, meaning mobile users can go head-to-head with console users in online matches. Whatever device you choose, you can take on eFootball™ fans from around the world.
eFootball™ Player Contracts
Players in eFootball™ 2022 will have a set duration for their contracts. This period will end at midnight (UTC), 365 days after the player was signed. Players with expiring contracts will not be removed. However, you will be unable to further develop them, and they will be unable to engage in certain types of matches.
Players with contracts which have expired can gain an extension using a “Contract Renewal (60 Days)” item. This will extend the contract’s duration to midnight (UTC), 60 days after using the item.
eFootball™ Version of Players
The new version of eFootball™ will have four player types altogether: Standard, Trending, Featured and Legendary. The way you sign players will vary depending on their type. For example, GP can only be used to sign Standard players, but eFootballTM 2022 allows you to add specific players to your squad. Naturally, the number of GP required will differ depending on the player.
eFootball™ Player Evolution, Advancement
Trending players have metrics based on a high degree of performance over a specific time period. This implies they are ready to go the moment you sign them.
The disadvantage is that they can’t be trained any further, so you won’t be able to customize them. On the other hand, Standard, Featured and Legendary players can be modified according to your personal tastes and needs.
These players begin with lower stats than Trending players, but they have room to improve through stat boosts and skill additions. If you take the time to properly train these players, they may end up contributing more to your matches than even your most powerful Trending player.
