Two years later Bolduan was left alone to host the show as it changed its name to At This Hour since Berman moved to the 9 a.m. CNN Newsroom. Later the show was removed from CNN programs but reinstated in April 2021 and on April 3, 2023, alongside Berman and Sara Sidner, she joined the program’s successor, CNN News Central.
In 2016, during the U.S. Presidential campaign, Kate was named the host of State of America with Kate Bolduan which was a global audience program on CNN International. The program was live on Fridays at 23:00 CET in Manhattan CNN’s New York studios. After the election, this program was renamed and its main focus was U.S. affairs and News.
