Mike Tirico NBC
Tirico joined ESPN in 1991 as a SportsCenter anchor after spending four years working as Sports Director at CBS affiliate WTVH in Syracuse, New York. He was known for his adaptability and the diversity of projects he worked on for SportsCenter and was the very first ESPNews host.
After a rumor earlier in the month, it was officially confirmed on May 9, 2016, that Mike Tirico would join NBC Sports on July 1, 2016. On June 30, 2016, with the completion of ESPN’s broadcast of the UEFA Euro 2016 soccer competition, he signed off for the final time.
