LeToya Luckett Destiny’s Child
Destiny’s Child was an American girl group whose final line-up. The original name of the group was Girl’s Tyme in 1990’s. The group received considerable attention after the release of the song, “No, No, No”.
Despite critical and financial achievement, Roberson and Luckett wanted to get away from the group’s manager named Mathew Knowles claiming that he was favouring Knowles-Carter and Rowland.
As a result, the group experienced internal divisions and legal issues. Williams and Farrah Franklin took the position of Roberson and Luckett at the beginning of 2000, but Franklin left the group after a few months, leaving the trio.
On February 19, 2006, in Houston, Texas, Destiny’s Child came together for one final performance during the NBA All-Star Game of that year. A few days later, they gave their final on-screen performance at the Fashion Rocks charity event in New York.
All of the members resumed their solo careers after their official parting, and they have all achieved diverse levels of success.
Since then, Knowles, Rowland, and Williams have kept up their collaborations on one each other’s solo projects by appearing in music videos, live performances, and song features.
