She worked as a CBS News correspondent in Dallas from 1999 to 2002. For CBS Evening News, she covered the War on Terror, the Taliban’s fall in Afghanistan, the 2002 Kenyan hotel bombing, the Enron scandal, and natural disasters in the United States.
